Dems: Rep. Kearns Announces Run for Fifth Term in Iowa House

State Representative Jerry Kearns of Lee County announced today that he will seek re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives in District 83, which includes southern Lee County.

Kearns is currently serving his fourth term in the Iowa House. He is ranking member of the Veterans Affairs Committee, as well as being seated on the Agriculture, Labor, and Ways and Means Committees. He is also on the Justice Systems Appropriations Budget Subcommittee and the Tax Expenditure Committee.

Kearns resides in Keokuk with his wife Diane. They have two sons and seven grandchildren.
