Dems: Gaskill Announces Run for Re-Election in Iowa House

State Representative Mary Gaskill, D-Ottumwa, announced today that she will seek re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives in House District 81, including the cities of Ottumwa, Eldon and Agency, seven townships and the part of Center township east of Ottumwa.

Rep. Gaskill is currently serving her seventh term in the Iowa House. She serves on the Economic Growth, Local Government, Ways and Means and Administration and Rules Committees.  She is also an Assistant Democratic Leader in the Iowa House.

In addition to serving in the Iowa House, Mary enjoys doing community volunteer work in Ottumwa. Previously, Mary served Wapello County for twenty two years: sixteen as Wapello County Auditor and six as clerk to the County Auditor.
