Through May 2, the Iowa Arts Council is accepting applications for three grant programs:

  • Art Project Grants offer $1,000 to $10,000 to artists, non-profit organizations, schools, tribal councils and government agencies. The program invests in the vitality of the arts, demonstrated public value, job creation and learning opportunities throughout the state.
  • Artist Fellowships support artists who demonstrate career readiness, excellence and innovation in the arts, and who are actively creating and presenting their work in Iowa. Selected artists receive a $10,000 grant to support their work, professional development, networking and promotional resources.
  • Cultural Trust Stability Grants help Iowa cultural organizations achieve fiscal stability and implement strategic planning and management. Applicants may apply for up to $2,500 and must provide a dollar-for-dollar match.

Applications are available at www.iowaartscouncil.slideroom.com. For more information, call 515-281-5111 or e-mail Veronica O’Hern at veronica.ohern@iowa.gov.
